Connecting to what matters.
Psychotherapy for Perspective, Purpose, and Possibility.
Embracing your humanity isn't easy, but you don't have to face it alone.
As a therapist, I welcome the opportunity to learn with you and help you gain perspective, live with purpose, and see possibility in each moment. Let's journey together as I listen, support, and guide you towards a vital and connected life.
Jennifer Plumb Vilardaga, PhD
LICENSED PSYCHOLOGIST
I have been a practicing psychologist for over 10 years working with a range of adult clients in medical and community settings.
Many of my clients experience anxiety, perfectionism, burnout and professional challenges, navigating life transitions, parenting and caregiving stress, challenges with aging or medical conditions, and grief and loss. I practice in way that is identity-affirming, anti-racist, and trauma-informed.
I believe in understanding each person in context, fully, and with an appreciation of the many factors — personal, family, cultural, and societal — that can influence current struggles.
Because life is a rich mix of feelings and experiences, I balance humor and seriousness to help you find connection, learn to live in the moment just as it is, and find the courage to take steps on your meaningful life path.
Telehealth and In-Person Therapy
I am licensed in Massachusetts and North Carolina and can provide telehealth in most other states. Teletherapy allows easy access to compassionate and cutting-edge care from afar. I see individuals via teletherapy throughout the United States who are located in MA or any Psypact participating state. Find out if your state is eligible. I also provide in-person therapy in Chapel Hill, NC.
